Understanding runs and credits
Datamorf uses two separate meters to keep your costs transparent and predictable.
Runs
Runs are included in your subscription plan. Each time a workflow executes (whether it has 3 steps or 30) it counts as a single run. The complexity of your workflow never affects how many runs it consumes.
When you reach your monthly limit, you decide what happens next. You can configure your workspace to either pause automatically all workflows until the next billing cycle, or keep them running uninterrupted. If you choose to keep running, any executions beyond your plan limit are tracked and billed as extra runs at the end of your billing cycle.
Credits
Credits are a separate pay-as-you-go balance used exclusively to pay for built-in integrations. Every time a workflow calls a built-in source (an email finder, a phone lookup, an AI transformation) a small amount of credits is deducted from your balance. Credits are never consumed by workflow logic, step execution, or standard integrations you've connected yourself.
How credits work in practice
You can add credits to your balance at any time from your workspace dashboard, there's no need to wait for a billing cycle. Credits never expire and carry over indefinitely until consumed.
If your credit balance runs out, Datamorf continues to run your workflows uninterrupted. Any excess usage is tracked and billed at the end of your current billing cycle, so your workflows never stop because you ran out of credits.
Adding credits in advance is more cost-effective than end-of-cycle billing. When you add credits to your balance before you need them, you receive bonus credits on top of your purchase — the more you add, the higher the bonus:
Credits added this way stack with your existing balance and kick in before any end-of-cycle billing applies.
You can monitor your credit consumption in real time from the Dashboard to track which workflows are using built-in sources and how much each is costing.
